- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
- 2 Tbsp flaxseed or Chia seeds*
- 1/2 apple OR pear OR berries chopped
- 2 tsp nuts chopped
- 1 tsp raw honey
- Dash vanilla or almond extract

Instructions
- In bowl with a cover, combine all ingredients. Shake or stir well. Keep in refrigerator overnight. The next morning it is ready to eat, or may be gently heated on stovetop for 1-3 min
Recipe Notes
*Chia seeds are an excellent source of Omega 3’s and are high in fiber. Chia seeds contain protein, calcium, potassium, iron, and antioxidants and are very helpful with energy. Chia seeds can also help with curbing appetite, balancing blood sugar and weight loss.
